These terms cover your use of Bunny Corner: the tools, guides, and pages at bunnycorner.com. They're written to be read, not just filed away, so we've kept the language plain wherever the law lets us.
Acceptance of these terms
By using Bunny Corner, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree with them, the only remedy we can offer is to stop using the site, since there's no account to cancel or subscription to close.
What Bunny Corner is
Bunny Corner is a platform of free tools, along with the guides and reference content that explain how they work. Today that means a set of landscaping calculators (soil, gravel, sod, paving, irrigation, fencing, and related project costs), but the platform isn't limited to any one category, and what's available may expand over time. There's no sign-up, no paid tier, and no account system; every tool is available to anyone who visits the page.
Using the tools
You can use Bunny Corner's tools for personal or commercial purposes, free of charge, without creating an account. You agree not to misuse the site, for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other users, or access it through means other than the interface we provide.
Tool results are estimates, not guarantees
Where a tool produces a number, a suggestion, or any other computed output, treat it as an estimate based on the inputs you gave it and the formulas or reference figures behind that tool, many of which are documented on our methodology page. Real-world use involves variables a tool can't always see: site conditions, material variability, supplier-specific figures, or local pricing, depending on the tool. Treat results as a starting point for planning, not a final specification.
You're responsible for your inputs and how you use the results
A tool can only be as accurate as what you give it. You're responsible for entering correct information and for double-checking a result before relying on it: ordering materials, committing to a budget, or beginning work based on it. For anything load-bearing, safety-critical, or subject to local code, get a second opinion from a licensed contractor or professional. Bunny Corner's tools are built and reviewed with care (see ourmethodology), but they're informational tools, not a substitute for professional, on-site judgment.
Intellectual property
The tools, guides, design, and original text on Bunny Corner are our work, and we retain the rights to them. You're welcome to link to any page on the site. You're not permitted to copy, republish, or redistribute our tools, written content, or underlying code as your own without our permission. Reference figures we cite from third-party sources (extension services, government agencies, standards bodies) remain the property of those sources, and we've credited them on the methodology page and in individual tool guides where relevant.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Bunny Corner to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its infrastructure, or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the site's operation, including through automated scraping that places excessive load on it
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or repackage the tools to build a competing product
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose
Third-party links
Some pages link to third-party websites, for example the sources we cite on themethodology page. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or availability. Linking to a source isn't an endorsement of everything else on that site.
Advertising
Bunny Corner doesn't currently show advertising.
Availability of the service
Bunny Corner is provided free of charge, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. The site may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, technical issues, or reasons outside our control.
Changes to the service
We add, remove, and revise tools and content regularly. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of Bunny Corner at any time, including a specific tool, without prior notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the site evolves. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use Bunny Corner after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
Bunny Corner is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty that the site or its tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. We work to keep our figures and formulas accurate and up to date, but we don't guarantee that every result will be correct for your specific use.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bunny Corner and its operators aren't liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its tools.
